Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about coaching with me, answered with care.
Getting Started
What is coaching, and how is it different from therapy?
Coaching is a forward focused, collaborative process designed to help you gain clarity, strengthen self awareness, and move intentionally toward change.
Therapy often explores and treats mental health conditions or past trauma. Coaching is not clinical treatment. It does not diagnose or treat mental illness. Instead, it creates space for reflection, perspective, and purposeful action in the present.
If deeper therapeutic support is needed, I will always encourage you to seek appropriate care.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Coaching may be right for you if you are feeling stuck, navigating change, re evaluating direction, or carrying responsibility that feels heavy.
You do not need to have everything figured out. You only need a willingness to reflect honestly and engage in the process.
If you are unsure, a brief introductory conversation can give you the clarity you need to make your decision.

What if I am not sure I am ready?
Readiness does not require certainty. It simply requires openness. If you find yourself questioning whether something needs to shift, that awareness itself may be the right place to begin.
What can I expect in a coaching session?
Sessions are structured but conversational. We focus on what’s coming up for you, clarify what matters most, explore patterns, and direction.
There is no pressure to perform or arrive with solutions. This space is for thoughtful inquiry, honest reflections and clarity.

Logistics & Commitment
How long is each coaching session?
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. This allows enough space for meaningful reflection without feeling rushed.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet weekly or bi weekly, depending on their schedule and goals. Consistency supports progress, but flexibility is always respected.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
Life happens. Sessions can be rescheduled with appropriate notice. Clear scheduling guidelines are shared at the start so expectations feel steady and fair.
Do you offer payment plans or flexible options?
Coaching is an investment in yourself. Flexible arrangements may be available depending on circumstance. This can be discussed during our initial conversation.
Do you work only with women?
My practice primarily supports women navigating growth, responsibility, and life transitions. However, the principles of clarity, reflection, and intentional direction are not exclusive to any one group.
The Coaching Process
How long does coaching take to see results?
Clarity can begin in the very first session. Lasting change, however, is a process. Some clients benefit from a focused short term engagement, while others choose longer support during major transitions. Together we will determine the pace that works best for you.
What happens between sessions?
Growth often continues between conversations. You may notice insights emerging in daily life. Occasionally, I may suggest simple reflections or practices to deepen awareness, but nothing overwhelming.
Can I do coaching if I'm also in therapy?
Yes. Coaching and therapy can complement one another when their roles are clear. Coaching focuses on present awareness, direction, and intentional change. If you are working with a therapist, it is helpful to maintain clarity about the purpose of each space.
Is this coaching suitable during major life transitions?
Yes. Many clients seek coaching during career shifts, role changes, identity transitions, or periods of heightened responsibility. Coaching provides steadiness during times that feel uncertain or demanding.
About the Approach
What is your coaching philosophy?
My work is grounded in the belief that clarity already exists within you. When the mind quiets and reflection deepens, direction becomes clearer. I offer structure without pressure and guidance without judgment.
Do you assign homework or practices?
Occasionally, I may suggest simple reflective practices. These are never rigid assignments. They are invitations to deepen awareness between sessions.
What if I don't have a specific goal in mind?
That is completely welcome. Many people arrive with a feeling rather than a defined objective. Part of the process is uncovering what truly matters beneath the surface.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. All conversations are handled with care and discretion. Confidentiality is foundational to this work and clearly communicated at the beginning of our engagement.
